Devestated by the turn of events, dealing with changes going on in her from Firefall, Mylia didn’t know how to deal with all of this, and turned to alcohol, not wanting to burden her beloved Calek with her problems. Mylia started drinking heavily, never realizing that Calek thought she was turning against him as well. During all of this, Wyldcard once more appeared to lift Mylia from darkness and has stayed by her side since...after telling her that he loved her. Mylia went to the Gods in an attempt to change their ruling...but the only thing they agreed on, was to give Calek’s essence back to one of the twins...for reasons of their own. When the twins were born, Rillao Roase Nite was Calek’s...and Tionne Roase Skyfire belonged to Talis.

Shortly after that, Mylia’s granddaughter/adopted daughter BlackVelvet was killed, and her last act was to make Mylia the Primogen of the Brujah clan in her place. Mylia tried to sift through all of the garbage going on around her and make her peace with herself so that she and Calek might have a chance for their children, if not themselves...but before she could tell Calek that she love him and had forgiven him, Verdanis killed Calek for the pain he had caused Mylia. Knowing that Calek died thinking she hated him, Mylia went into a deep depression and started slipping away. Had it not been for Keki, Fionn, and Wyldcard, Mylia probably would have let herself die.

However, their love, and the new duty she had to the Brujah...not to mention finding and destroying the creature who had made war on the Roases...caused her to once more find some hidden vestige of strength deep down inside of her. Although she still thinks of Calek.

Fighting the war that had been declared on the Roases, Mylia has had several close calls, including being poisoned twice. However, a friend called Morrak was more than willing and able to heal her of the effects of the poison. Although no one in the family trusted Morrak, Mylia does and is a staunch defender of him. No one knows why she is so loyal to him...and no one has thought to ask her, either. However, after watching several of her family die, Mylia again went to Morrak for his help, which he freely gave her. Mylia finally ended up killing Daedra...and causing great harm to herself when it was made known that long ago, the Gods had created Daedra from the darkest part of Mylia’s soul. So, in essence she had killed a part of herself.

Just recently, several members of the Roase clan spoke out against Angelic...and the family voted to have her executed for the crimes they felt she had committed against the family...Before Mylia had a chance to decide either way, Angelic had learned of the news and went to Morrak to have him kill her. Mylia feels guilty over the way Angelic died, but few outside the family care and condemn her for the family’s actions. Assassins have attempted to kill Mylia several times for Angelic’s death, but she has thus far managed to survive.

Terrified of the repercussions her daughter’s death could have on the Roases, Mylia went to Angelic’s father and begged him on bended knee to spare the Roases and not make war on them...hoping the love he had for her would let him be merciful to those she loved above all. He agreed, and only Wyldcard knows what the price for the safety of the Roases was. Mylia still holds her position of leader of the Roases, and Brujah primogen. She is holding up to her end of the bargain with ^Memnoch^ .
